Art History’s Supportive Friends
The FSU Friends of Art History was established in 2010 to foster dialogues between the FSU Department of Art History and the community, to sponsor lectures, receptions, and related events, and to raise funds in support of student scholarships.
This past Spring, the Friends hosted a Steven Wilberding tour and conversation about his Turkomen Jewelry collection at the FSU MoFA, and an evening with Hugh Belsey, of the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art. The organization also hosted a fellowship forum for the three recipients of the Friends of Art History Dissertation Research Award: Carey Fee, Karlyn Griffith, and Morgan McCormick.
